    Applications

    • Growth Layer: The dense coverage of plants, including perianth, leaf sheath, leaf, and stem, prevents direct erosion of the slope's surface soil by rain. It reduces erosion capacity, surface runoff speed, and soil loss caused by storm runoff.

    • Detritus Layer: The interface between leaf litter and rhizomes forms a protective layer for the surface soil of the slope, further enhancing erosion resistance.
