Introduction

Geotextiles are permeable nonwoven fabrics used to separate,filter,reinforce, protect or drain.Geotextiles allow filtration or separation of granular layers in roads and rail applications,used to protect membranes in landfill applications,used in coastal defence applications and used in landscaping to protect surfaces and structures from weeds and root growth.

PET Long fiber geotextile was made from virgin polyester chips, the continous filament was extruded from polyester chip by machine directly by spunbond process. Pet Long Fiber Nonwoven Geotextile punch together to get the stable 3D with highter strength fabric . so Nonwoven Geotextile Fiber has high strength , good creep property excellent and erosio resistance, aging-resistance and heat resistance.

Applications

1.Drainage

The use of geotextiles to filter the soil and a more or less single size granular material to transport water is increasingly seen as a technically and commercially viable alternative to the conventional systems. Geotextiles perform the filtering mechanism for drainages in earth dams, in roads and highways, in reservoirs, behind retaining walls, deep drainage trenches, and agriculture.

2.River, Canals and Coastal Works

Geotextiles protect river banks from erosion due to currents or lapping. When used in conjunction with natural or artificial enrockments, they act as a filter.
