Description

Introduction

Usually, non woven geotextile refers to needle punched non-woven geotextile made from Polyester or polypropylene short curing fiber with the diameter of 6D to 12D and length of 54-64mm.
The producing process is to opening, carding and cluttering the short fibers to make them cross with each other, and then lapping to let the fibers normalize entangling, and at last needle punched with high speed. It is an effective and economical solution of separation, filtration, drainage, protection and reinforcement functions for engineering projects.

Applications

For Filtration:When water passes from a fine-grained to a coarse grained layer, Non woven Geotextile can retain fine particles well. For an example, when water flows from a sandy soil into a Geotextile wrapped gravel drain.
For Separation:It can separate two layers of soil with different physical properties. For an eample, the separation of road gravel from soft sub-base materials.
For Drainage:It can drain liquid or gas from the plane of the fabric, which leads to draining or venting of the soil. For an example, the gas vent layer in a landfill cap.
For Reinforcement:It can improve the load bearing capacity of a specific soil structure. For an example, the reinforcement of a retaining wall.
