Introduction

Geomembrane is a type of anti-seepage material used to prevent infiltration and interaction between soil and water bodies. Common geomembrane materials include the following

High density polyethylene (HDPE): HDPE geomembranes have a certain degree of flexibility and toughness, and can resist long-term exposure to ultraviolet radiation and chemical substances. It is widely used and commonly used in situations where there is high humidity or high chemical content on one side of the soil.
Low density polyethylene (LDPE): Low density polyethylene geomembrane has good flexibility and ductility, suitable for lower soil pressure and temperature conditions. It is commonly used in horticulture, agricultural anti-seepage, and drainage projects.
Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE): Linear low-density polyethylene geomembrane has good physical properties and impermeability. It is usually used in large-scale projects such as highways, railways, and landfills.

4.High density polypropylene (HDPP): High density polypropylene geomembranes have high tensile strength and impermeability, making them suitable for engineering under high pressure and high temperature environments.

5.Polyvinyl chloride (PVC): Polyvinyl chloride geomembranes have good flexibility and permeability resistance, and are widely used in water bodies, subways, tunnels and other engineering projects.

6.Polyester (PET): Polyester geomembranes have high impermeability and tensile strength, and are commonly used in soil stability, underground engineering, and groundwater protection projects.
